I moved yards 3 months ago as told the yard I was at had been sold and all the liverys etc where moving together to a new yard but was to far away for me.

I had a e mail from YO offering me my stabels back as yard now not sold and off market. She has matched the price Im paying as new yard cheeper.

Old yard has better school, hacking not so good, turnout not so good but closer to stables. Closer to home by about 5/10 min drive.

One reason I was "happy" to leave old yard was because of one family very loud asnd in your face. New yard I hardly ever see any of the other owners as they work and are at the yard at different times. Always hack by myself, would have someone to hack with if went back. I do miss company.

What should I do, problems will still be at old yard, but is the grass greener?

In my opinion no livery yard is perfect. I don't think anyone can tell you one way or the other. You will just have to weigh up the pros and cons. I think I would probably go back to old yard as I love having company out riding! Maybe better the devil you know than the devil you don't know?

Good luck.

If I were you I'd go back, you definately sound as if you prefer the old yard. I hate hacking alone too, that would be enough to swing it for me.
