I took the big ginger for a hack today as I couldn't face schooling.
off we pootled on a long rein with the big numpty snorting at everything and anything until we met a big scary red tractor - jerry doesn't normally do tractors so I stood him on a verge until it passed us. the big ginge did me proud by just having a wee look.
a bit further up we met a lawnmower - we eventually got past this after much snorting.
then there's a slight breeze which makes the trees rustle slightly..

horse jumped - all four feet off the ground - and scared me silly.
stupid creature..

Hahaha that sounds exactly the same as my hack but in Herts/London so we had kids climbing out of car windows to see the horses, someone flytipping as we rode past, the skate park being abolished right next to us (really loud digging and a machine picking up the stuff and dropping it in the back of a lorry) and plenty more (school kicking out time and we ride past the schools)....... Didnt bat an eyelid but walked past some dogs tied up outside the school (hes fine with dogs) they didnt even move, not even a bat of an eyelid but horse felt the need to dramatically leap onto the other side of the road away from them........... idiot!!!

My mare is not bothered by any form of traffic but seems to have a deathly fear of leaves blowing towards her feet! lol When on a hack if a leaf would blow anywhere near her legs she would watch it really closely, slowly move sideways and then launch herself away from it! Used to be sooo funny.
