I am going to be e bit self-indulgent I am afraid. I feel so proud of myself! I get the total fear jumping, but it has been something I have really worked on recently.
So, I went to a jumping clinic with my friend, and jumped everything! We did some grid work, it was about 2' and we started with 2 cross poles and then went to 3 jumps with a straight on the end. Near the end of the clinic the instructor (to my horror) put a bounce thing in the middle of the first 2 jumps and we went pop, pop, pop over everything! Fillers and all!
I haven't had a jumping lesson since I was 9 (I am 31!) and I had a really painful fall last year on my loan horse and was totally put off by it. I really wanted to be brave and alot of it wasn't very stylish but I didn't die!
So, glass of bubbly all round!
