After a very sleepless night thinking how to lead them out together on my own in the best way to avoid Hannah getting stressed out, I decided that if I didn't just do I would be worrying continually about doing it.
I asked hubby to come down and just be on hand in case... picked Hannah's feet out, put headcollars on the two of them (Troy was much better today, I even put it on while he was lay down) and then put my scarf around Troy's neck because I couldn't find the towel I have been using. I pushed Troy out first, leaving Hannah on a loose lunge line, and she just came out of the stable calmly and quietly behind us. It all went really well, I am so proud of the two of them.
So I am going to try and do it again tonight bringing them in... I am just so pleased it went as well as it did. She seems to be calming down, which is a great relief to me and my foot
Troy just loves being out in the field so much, it is lovely to watch. He sulks when he is brought back into his stable which is hilarious. But he is also getting quite brave, popping his head out of the stable door and watching the world go by. Hannah is also letting him have a bit more space and not watching his every move now.
I just wanted to share it with you all because I am really pleased with how it went today...
