Thankyou to everyone who took time to wrack their brains as to why my fenceman unit wasnt working. I got it working, but it won't work off D cell batteries, only leisure battery *sigh*.
But it's up and running much to the dismay of the boys who watched the fence going up with MUCH amusement. Large ASBO: "yeah, last time someone put me in one of them they forgot to make the tape go ping and I ran off". Smaller ASBO "uh, I dunno big fella, it seems pretty scary to me.... uh" Large ASBO : "stick with me tiddler, I know me stuff".
They were caught easily (for once) and trundled into their new paddock and let loose. Large ASBO took a run for it, hit the fence at break neck speed (okay, trot, which is break neck for him) and got the shock of his life and careered round looking mega annoyed, face of thunder.
Smaller ASBO careered behind him looking bewildered (as only he can) : "Uh, big fella... did it hurt?"
If it can keep those two in then I'm onto a winner... I hope so as I've five more acres to make into paddocks yet....
