Admittedly, for about 10 minutes in walk before the heavens opened. (I say walk, we just pootled a bit).

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still way too unfit, unbalanced and heavy to ride for longer/faster but it was such an amazing feeling to be back on board! I was starting to feel really down about my weight loss progress but tonight was definitely the motivation I needed to push on and get fitter so I can do more. ?

I was really pleased too because I wasn’t nervous. I was before I got on but once on it just all felt so natural!

Friend’s pony is just fab, he sighed when I was faffing about getting on because I was so nervous and then just plodded about with me until it was just raining too hard to carry on :) just felt so good to be back on board! Need to start doing some Pilates again, I know that will help with balance etc.

Really well done! It is not easy after a break, so great that you took the first step. I hope that you will be able to keep going and will soon have your hobby back:)
