Just wanted to share with you all as I had some really supportive comments to a previous threat of mine that I had lost all my confidence and was too scared to go on hacks alone..
well I did it I sort of switched off from thinking about it too much and closed my eyes and the juntion of safe route and route I was scared of. and took the latter.
It took me 2 hours of slow riding opening and closing gates getting off and on etc... but I felt fab when I got back.
Though the girls at the yard were really worried as although I had told them I may go that way I don't think they believed I would actually do it and were panicing as I am never gone longer than 1 hour.
Now I have a newly found confidence with my horse (partner)
and I am going to try some other routes that I wouldn't do before alone.
