..... I screwed up all my courage and went voluntarily to a jumping show........ and,.... and was in the ribbons!!!!!!!!!!
THat last bit was totally unplanned though, I just wanted to achieve going to a jumping show. Fortunatly a club near me was running some beginners classes, so I thought I would give it a bash. After all what was the worst that could happen..... OK falling off, out of control. vomiting with fear is possibly the worst, but the guys at Holly hill were wonderfully supportive and I managed a clear round in my first class, but I rolled a pole in the jump off. Didn't make a difference though I still managed to get a ribbon though
For some reason I then went into the next class and managed a double clear.... OK it was a little on the slow side (but I managed some canter this time!)
but I came 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... that 50 seconds seemed the longest 50 seconds ever!
I was so proud of my girly. She managed to get us round and look after me when I was all jelly and she really needed some direction from me. I think she really enjoyed herself though, and was quite relived when we finished with me still in the plate.
*yaaaa - runs around in circles waving her hands in a mad happy way*
I never ever thought that I would get to do this.... I can't wait to see the photos when they go on the website.
