Just wanted to say thanks for the support that I have received on here.

On Saturday I rode a horse for the first time in 7 months since my accident.

Had a little wobble when I first got on where suddenly looking down from the 17.2 ex racehorse, it seemed a long way down! As soon as we got going it was fine and felt amazing to be back where I belong.

Edited to add, would a week today be too soon for a first dressage test????

Very well done! - and on such a big boy!!!! - as for the dressage - why not??? if you feel ready go for it! in the big scheme of things if it goes badly there is always another day lol x

Well done! Lovely horse. Why are you riding in a car park? And as to dressage test - absolutely!

Ha!! Just thought the concrete looked softer in there..............no, we had just come back from a little ride around the country park when I asked my friend to record the momentous occasion.

My theory was that I am always the most relaxed out hacking, the horse loves it and pretty much bombproof so decided I wouldn't overthink as much as I would doing laps of a school.
