help, i have a 6 year old cobx and i have no transport and he is getting board, i really really neeed to get him out any ideas.
no one at my yard to take me either and too expensive to rent one!

I have the same problem except it is me that is bored. I used to have my own transport and did a lot of dressage and pleasure rides. I now just hack and find it really hard to motivate. My boy is 18 yrs old and think he's semi retired and not bothered. I also keep him at home so no one to ride out with, not that it bothers me a lot but would be nice to have some companionship.

are you not able to hack out or hack to local events? Try joining a riding club, you might be able to buddy up with somebody with transport

we had the same problem last year as had to sell my box due to LEZ. Was an awful year... couldnt even get transporters as none where compliant, and we have nowhere to hack really.

try different schooling exercises, grid work, download dressage tests to do.....and nags your parnets to buy something to tow with.

Im lucky now as bought a Lovely old Bedford (1973) lol so exempt from LEZ... it was either that or stay stranded!!

I have the same problem...but im lucky enough to have someone to hack with..although when shes away eventing it does get lonely...I try and find things that are hackable even an hour away is feasible as you can just walk all of the way..motivation is hard to keep...but just think of long summer days/evening and how much you enjoy it once your riding...works for me...chin up
