I found out yesterday that the horse I had on loan until April broke her leg and had to be put down. I am a bit weepy really. Does that make me silly given that she is no longer 'my' horse?

Of course not. Would be more surprised if you weren't upset tbh. You formed a bond with her in the time you had her. just because she was no longer 'yours' doesn't mean you stop caring.

((hugs))

Of course not......(((((hugs))))) to you....I get upset reading the stories on here of people who have lost there horses, and I don't know the people or the horses not even nseen a picture in most cases.

Thank you guys :)

She was such a gentle soul and so many people are sad to see her go.

Here she is looking beautiful and helping me with my jumping last summer ( I needed a lot of help which she very kindly provided)

and here she is teaching my OH how to be horsey. Until we got her he had never even touched a horse!

We owe her a lot and I'm sure she'll be sadly missed by anyone who ever knew her
