I called at a yard and the most stunning black mare in the paddock next to the car park trotted over to say hello, she is apparently friesan and just started her career.
I can probably count the number of times I have bought horses on the spot without even getting on them, and she was one of them.
Isn't it funny how sometimes you see a horse and just fall for it?
(no I didn't although she is for sale at a more than reasonable price apparently, I'm too busy trying to cut down the numbers here..)
I've never seen a friesan close up before, she was really lovely...

Go on you know u want to !

they are the most beautiful horses ever i have one and one on the way do to my mare being pregnant i would recommend them anyday

In my previous life I took care of one on a yard of twelve, he was the love of my life! (and the bain of his trainer's!) He was the most lovely horse I have ever ridden and I promise I did not only love him for decking the blooming trainer on a regular basis!

I definitely want to have owned at least 1 Friesan in my life time, I love them. My friend bought a 3 yo stallion for riding/driving and he is so so lovely!

You should buy her

If she is a reasonable price you could bring her own and she'll soon be double the price

Been a bit smug here I have got one and he is my big hansome boy very much a one to one horse quite sensitive if he was a bloke he would be Laurance lewelin Bowen with the same flambouant dress sence and strikes a pose at every oppertunity I am his devoted slave. (My horse that is !)

I am not surprised you fell in love they are a joy to own

Go get her you know you want to ....

They are something ! I sort of have one she's a cross TB

IMO levels them off into an allrounder, the Tb gives her a little more spark/fire Think grand cart horse who thinks she ready for badminton!!!!

LOL

Their is a gentleman up here that has hundreds of them what a sight they make galloping towards you I can tell you.

I know someone who breeds them and has one competing adv med and a Friesan/TB that is just about to go up to intermediate eventing

they are very very good at dressage and can jump to if you wanted they excel in all discipline if you wanted to
