I've had Roo a year and not fallen off her yet. Ridden Brenin once, and fell off in the first 5 minutes.
I said to his owner that I would ride him as they don't have the confidence to jump him without knowing what he's like.
He's only 14.2hh with a tiny saddle (I'm 6 foot) so it was a bit strange. And he wasn't what I'm used to; pony striding, and canters like 3 strides before stopping again. Either that or just running off with me.
So I warmed him up, and then turned him into a small jump, he hesitated and I made him jump, the fence was about one foot, he jumped about 4 foot over it. It completely unseated me and on landing turned fast and ran. I came out the side door head first, but it didn't hurt so I got back on.
Roo has unseated me countless times but gives me chance to rebalance on landing, stays straight and slow lol.
I got straight back on, made the jump smaller and went over a few more times, he kept running out, which I'm not used to but I got him over it a few more times, before letting him cool down.
I've been asked to bring him on for them,
