Back to health

still bearing her scars, but fully recovered

2nd hope even though she was the first one in would have been a 2008
This is where I prefer time and energy and emotion be spent than bringing more into the world to suffer the same......after last contraversial posts.

My mam has to take the credit , she took these dogs in the early hours of the morning when know one else would and funded their expensive care back to health and apart from their vet checks at her work she kept them at home with her and took them to work everyday, fed them round the clock and styed up till all hours caring for them.......I did help but a small preportion compared to her.

Well done Mum!!!

I'd like to put those with questionable parentage responsible in a room with no food for a couple of weeks with some daily unpleasantries that would make Henry VIII proud thrown in if you get my drift!!!

Good god, how horrific, top marks to you and your mum for all your hard work, not normally into greys but Hope 1 is really stunning, the difference in both of them is like a miracle, well don

I was going to say ''I cannot believe people can be so cruel'' but we all know they can and they are whether through ignorance or intent.
It is nice to see that they are back to health through you and your mums dedication
Here's hoping you won't see as many cases as bad as this, this year but I think you probably will...........

Christ allmighty, what is wrong with people to do this to animals?!!!!

Glad they are both fully recovered, it must have been a joy to see them running around and behaving like dogs! Well done your mum!

I am so glad they both made a good recovery Cayla

And for those who think they are awful, I actually seen photos of worse cases

How people can treat any animal like this is beyond me

My god that is horrific!
I am so glad they have found homes or I would of been straight in the car to come and get them.

God that is awful, but well done to your Mum and you for all your hard work in getting them back to health. Its not just that they have weight on in the later photos, they also have totally different expressions and demeanours
smile.gif
You say the 2nd Hope was found in a shed, I don't suppose the owner was found and prosecuted?

Speechless really. Those, poor, poor dogs. God help me if I ever got my hands on someone inflicting such cruelty
mad.gif

Well done to your Mum, lucky dogs to fall into her hands
smile.gif

jeeeeez.
i agree, puppy farms should all be shut, we need a SHORTAGE of dogs in this country (in the world) and a LOT more education.
so glad to hear both Hopes pulled through.
wtf is up with people that they could let a dog get into that state? i will never ever understand it. *shakes head in disbelief*

Poor little things. So glad they got the happy ending they deserved. Truely shocking neglect like this just leaves me speechless really. It amazes me that people could be quite so cruel and heartless.
frown.gif

Thanks for sharing Cayla.

That was in about/almost how emanciated Cilla the kitten was when we found in our shed last autumn, half frozen and starved to death, though her longer coat disguised it a little more. But for all we know, her mother can be a completely wild cat, so not a case of any cruel humans involved, just natural cruel nature.

However it is one thing to be to stupid to realise that you have an abandoned, young, strange kitten in your garden, it would be a completely different thing if I had e.g. thrown out one of our cats and left it behind, when it was time to move home from the summer house.

Praise to you and your mother for doing what you do.

Well done to you and you mam
smile.gif
What beautiful dogs
smile.gif
Regards the people who let these poor dogs get in this state, words fail me
confused.gif
What is wrong with some people ? I really could lock them away without feed, water and warmth for a week and see if that changes their sick, twisted minds
frown.gif

I know two wrongs don't make a right but people need to realise you shouldn't do this to another human or animal
frown.gif

I remember them when they came in, such beautiful dogs so badly let down by man and saved by you lot. That grey was my favourite of all the dogs you'v had in. I wish I could win the lottery and give it all to you....

ps that only goes until I ACTUALLY win obviously, then you can have SOME of it
tongue.gif

Horrific pictures. I wish those who "need to know" could see them. How do they sleep at night? How can anyone behave this way?
So glad they recovered and had a chance of a good life. Bless you Cayla and your Mum.

They wher epretty hard to stomach at the time and the grey in particular was touch and go because the risk of her internal organs, functions being permanantly damaged, it had been estimated she had not eated for atleast 3 weeks, it was very hard keeping small meals into her, we did chase up her tatoo and of course got the usual..."I gave it to some kids", with hope the house as abandoned and the usual authorities would not step in till someone could get out
crazy.gif
she was dying as she was found, so not sure what that was all about
crazy.gif
,
They did both get lovely homes and hope 2 saluki x visits my mams regurlarly and they keep in contact
smile.gif

I have looked at those pictures a couple of times today, and despite knowing what I am going to see, am none the less still shocked and speechless 2nd and 3rd look!
If only some people could be PTS or at the very least spayed....
Hats off to you and your mum. Incredible transformation!

possibly a dumb question but was the greyhound an ex racer ? any ear tattoos ?
main reason i wanted to post was to say well done to you and your mum they both look fab now !!!!
ive just notice in one of your replies the greyhound had a tattoo did you report it too the greyhound racing authorities ???

We certainly did...they said they would not give us the details of the owner....but they did contact him and reported back that he has sold the dog on and denied he knew the dog was in that state
crazy.gif
.......I still think he should have been held accountable and think her was lying out of his arse hole
mad.gif

I wish I could put my thoughts into the right words. I wish I could see my computer screen, I wish I could find the Kleenex! People like your Mum and you really are amazing: such kindness and dedication.
The people who dumped these poor animals : well, pure evil.
