Took Luna out for our second solo hack today and the weather wasn't fab, and it was bin and recycling day

She was a little tense but kept going forward and giving the odd thing a wide berth. Some sick on the pavement was terrifying

but we went past quietly. All was then fine until we spotted a huge collection of cardboard. It was, of course, going to eat her so she grew a hand, snorted lots and stood stock still. She did try and turn round but mostly walked forward, stood still, snorted, took a few steps sideways then went forward again.

We got passed it safely....then met two buses, one coming towards us and one behind us, and she didn't fuss at all

I'm very lucky to have such a sensible baby but having had very bombproof horses for a few years, I forgot how many horse eating monsters there are out there

Yep, I took my 4 yr old out by herself on Christmas morning and it was an eventful ride! Can't say I enjoyed myself much! She had a lovely time however.

It's odd how they spook at such daft things

. My baby is fine with big flashing tractors with trailors on the back, but a rock on the bend of the road is a horse eating monster and the banana shape has to be made to get around it

! I do love hacking out babies though

, and in all fairness to Max (my baby) he is a saint 90% of the time

KandM...she's a saint most of the time too....just made me giggle. She was a lot better than the 6yo I used to ride out. She used to do hugely violent spooks! Almost ate tarmac many times. Banana bends, freezing and snorting I can cope with

The only thing that causes Vardi to grow 6 hands and snort is the field of Deer that we sometimes pass.....he has a real WTF is that growing out of their heads look
