Well, decided to get mad Maddy in at the weekend to see if she was still lame (she was lame on and off for a while and she then had a baby and baby was weaned a few weeks back now), it was a struggle getting her in as we had to go the long way around to avoid going through the field with her baby in Madd wasn't impressed with any of the other horses getting near her and proceeded to kick out at them!
Got her to the yard and tied her up and she proceeded to dance around on the end of the lead rope, swing her bum round, dance again, paw the ground and do it all over again! She will NOT stand still!
At one point she was trotting on the spot
So stuck some tack on her and lunged her, predictably she went a little crazy on the first rein but calmed down after a bit and wasn't lame, so put her on the other rein and again, little crazy but then settled down quite nicely and also wasn't lame! So got on her and walked her around and she was ok
So my plan now is to gradually bring her back into work over the summer
My god i forgot how much of a fidget she is though! Dancing pony!
