They all have it in them with the right circumstances I guess. It was my fault really. She had been kept out of the field for a week and then I decided to take her over there to ride. She was fine until I tried to canter and then we started to rodeo a bit. It was more of a "I want to be loose to play over here lady! this is my playground!" kind of bronc.

I have to admit to being very suprised but I got her out of it quickly and the rest of the ride was without incident.

just goes to show doesnt it,you can never take them for granted, took my old boy to a show last year and he was full of it,rears, jogging on the spot, just all the silly excitable moves they do,but i had never seen him do them before lol

Yes, I got bronced by my 'bombproof' Archie - still recovering from the surgery! My fault entirely, he was on his toes and I jumped on bareback! I would like to think he was so excited to see his mummy he couldn't contain himself

paintboxEDT sorry - unrelated to post but that chestnut you have in your pics is STUNNING he is so my type of horse ive been staring at his pic and i want him! Just thought id tell u how lovely he is though im sure u already know!

Oooo - they just like to show that they're not perfect sometimes don't they!
I boasted about my beautiful, sane, calm and gentle horse before taking him to his second show (he was so calm at the first one we did). Good lord - doesn't pride come before a fall!! - the little monkey showed how well he can buck, spin, bronc, and generally show me up in a dressge ring!

I have to add he has behaved perfectly ever since!

Isn’t it kind of fun when they do that though, just shows you they are still loving life! Bodey chucked in a little wooo hooo at my XC last weekend, and I was grinning from ear to ear. Great to sit on them and not feel an inch of insecurity or fear!
