So picture this, I was having a nice mooch in the field this morning, the grass was poking through my muzzle and I was with my pals
then Mum turned up, this isn't a bad thing as I do love her (don't tell my mates
), but she took me in and started putting girly plaits in my mane and tail. Uh oh, this could mean only one thing, that prancing about doing circles and so on without any jumps
I tried getting all upset at being in on my own, danced about a bit and pooing everywhere, but she just told me to grow up
I gave up in the end as when I jigged about she kept singing too me - trust me, this is not a good thing! Besides when I behave she tells me I'm good and gorgeous
It was then off on the wheely stable, and we didn't go far, and I was very good when we arrived as I had a haynet and there were lots of horses to chat to, including some seriously fit mares
Mum then got me working, she is very determined these days and wants me to go well straight away - I of course obliged
we then went into the big arena and did our little dance in front of a car - what is all that about
mum seemed pleased and gave me a pat and really that is all that matters
I was then allowed back to my haynet for a bit, and then had to dance in front of another car in a much bigger arena. When I say dance, it's not exactly graceful as that's for girls, but I do try to keep Mum happy. I did my best and Mum gave me a big pat and 2 - yes 2 apple treats
I heard her telling her friend that we got 60% and 8th out of 25 for the first 'dance' and then then for the second that was something to do with the championship 59.5% and 19th out of 38. Mum read out what the judge had written 'horse shows much promise' - promise, I didn't promise anyone anything, what is that about??
It was then time to go home, Mum gave me a lovely cold shower, a big hug
and joy of joys a carrot
Her friend took this picture, and I think if I work on this I may be able to bag one of the fit mares next time
I am quite tired now, so I think I will have a little nap
Love
