I got so soaked out hacking yesterday

that I considered driving back from the yard in the buff. In the end, I kept my clothes on, but the suede seat of my breeches has left a distinct black imprint on my car seat which is pale and leather...

Any clues as to how I can remove the marks before my OH discovers them and has a fit?

Seriously though, get some AutoGlym leather cleaner (they do a huge range of lotions and potions) - not cheap but very good stuff, should sort it out hopefully, you may even get brownie points for cleaning his car for him
