Bah!
Got the vet out to look at Ethel today as wasn't 100% sure she was sound and have had a feeling her back isn't quite right so haven't ridden her for a few days. Vet said she's slightly lame on the near hind but her back is very tense so that could be affecting her movement and making her trot up lame. So he has said to get the back lady out to check her over and do what she needs to do, take her advice on when to ride etc and he will come back after to see her trot up again and see if having her back done has sorted it or if she's still lame in that leg (which is the one she had a hock injury on last year)
It's annoying, her schooling was going so well and we were about to start lessons but now this has stopped that for the moment. Hey ho .. hopefully she'll be sorted soon and we'll be back on the road!
P.S. Before anyone says about getting tack checked, she is ridden in a racing saddle as I'm currently saving up to buy her a GP.
