BH is a giant knobber. OH has rope burn and I dropped my clippers   Thankfully they're still ok. Phew

Massive idiot knobber horse. Grrrrr

Bad BH the yellow one was clipped today and was a model citizen maybe they can have a little chat about it next time they meet, he stood perfectly for all the tricky bits and let me shove clippers in places he didnt know he had places bless him.
On another more anoyed note its his second of the year so far and he was far to hairy considering he was clipped a few weeks ago :rolleyes:

BH was happy to have his face clipped and his belly clipped but the one place I wasn't allowed to clip? His shoulder. WTF? Retard horse!

Ha sorry I had to laugh :D :o yellow pony did that last time with 3 of his legs  lucky for him they were left on this time. He even managed to remember his manners when I turned him out after  :D

I thought I might possibly have grown fond of him (love is too strong a word) but he is dead to me now  I love my clippers more than I love him and I really thought he'd broken them. If he had I think I'd have had to banish him!

He is definitely for sale in the spring. I am not clipping him next year, he has to be gone by then! Grr

Mine is EXACTLY the same. Constant twitching so at every twitch the hair was cut short and she now looks like a patchwork quilt. Ahh well, she'll look fine in a couple of weeks and can wear a rug for the rest of the time. Riding in the dark too so no-one can see.

I'd let him off 9tails but I know for a fact I am the only person that has ever clipped him and I know for another fact I have never nicked him, never clipped him with blunt blades, never clipped him with overheated clippers. He is just a giant knobber. I don't care if he looks stoopid. He'll have to go out all winter with a dodgy clip and it's his own ridiculous fault. He is such a pleb! I told him if he didn't stand still and let me do a decent job Nitty wouldn't love him anymore but he didn't seem that bothered! :p :D

You do realise that by the time you sell him he will be perfect to clip just to annoy you and then nitty will be the bad one to clip and bh will be all smug. How is nitty now?

She's ok. Her leg seems to have gone down a bit the past couple of weeks all of a sudden. It is far from normal but is definitely smaller than it has been since this whole palaver started!

And she would never be difficult to clip because she is a good girl. She knows what's good for her that one. She just gives up after five minutes as if to say 'well if you must do it, just get on and hurry up'. Very wise. BH still can't learn that lesson!

Cleaver nitty for the hock and not putting up a fight over these things :) Maybe the threat of taking nitty away completly might work?

Well I like to think you love him anyway, I have a grey horse and a brown horse too. The grey horse is my number one princess and the brown one is a sweetie that just sort of happened.

I finally tried to get myself a photobucket acccount so I could share pics. Has this worked????

I absolutely adored that book. I had show ponies growing up so it was my favourite. I should have called Nitty Perdita shouldn't I? Didn't think of that, plus she came already named of course.

Can't place which bit specifically it would be though, you'll have to remind me!

It's so soppy - the bit where Gillian first sees Perdita when she goes across the lake "There was about her an absolute perfection...She was my dream come true, waking from the grey mists to come and find me. Maybe she had dreamed of a girl who would come and ride her to fame. And I was here now, waiting"

I had show ponies too :)
