particularly mine who seems to delight in worrying me!! Brought him in today to trot him up to see whether he was sounder or not, and he has a 'stab' wound on the outside bottom of his knee on his front leg, and the leg is swollen all down the outside. Naturally it's outisde office hours so can't really ring vets to chat although mum reckons it's fine. TYPICAL!

lol, said tongue in cheek! Of course I don't, just very frustrating when he comes in with various injuries all the time, and I NEVER see him hoolying around or anything!

I know how you feel....you WISH you hate him so you didn't have to worry about him cos you love him.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery from the sore knee....

oh good, so it's not just mine.
His recent problems include: graze to shoulder, swollen knee(nothing obvious, perfectly sound), cut lip+ chipped tooth, cut to leg as mentioned above, opened up an old cut... all within a month!
Plus he's a tiny bit lame.
And yet, he flies round events with novice me, and he has 'character' (don't ask what the vet calls it..or the physio..both of which he will chase out of the stable with his antics...)

They ALWAYS get hurt when it is Friday after hours!!!!!!!

WHAT is up with that?

Hope the wound heals up quickly!
I am often found hating my horses, but today Chester did so well I am LOVING them ( well...at least him

They leave the naughtiness til we're tucked up in bed I think.
Seriously they are all plotting against us and want us to all have nervous breakdowns so they can take over the earth!

Breath...

Hope his knee gets better soon xx xx

Phoned the vet today who presceribed antibiotics and poulticing so we'll see....its more swollen and a bit warm..
I love horses..naturally it HAS to be a friday evening!
