I hate selling!!!!

GRRRRRRR
I am currently trying to sell my Mercedes 818 lorry. It is in excellent condition and has attracted lots of enquiries. However, despite 2 people saying they were coming last weekend and another 5 emailing me - not one person has so far turned up.

This is just the same as when I was trying to sell a pony in the autumn. I spent so many days indoors waiting for people to turn up who never did.
Why do people go to the effort of ringing and emailing then not bothering to turn up?

yes i too have spent many days waiting for people to come look at my horse, grooming him etc

Do you get their contact/mobile details? because if not, I would make a point of only agreeing an apt if you have their details. That way if they are late you can at least call them/embarrass them into letting you know if they are coming or not...

Tried that. When selling pony I rang the home number and spoke to the husband. He had no idea she had rung about the pony or was 'interested' in buying one. He advised me to forget about her coming as she had gone shopping!
