I have a chestnut filly!!!!

My mare foaled at 7 o'clock this morning and has presented me with a beautiful chestnut filly - exactly what I wanted!! Pics will have to follow later as I don't have digital camera but if I can work out how to post a video, I'll do that.

For those of you who remember the horror of me losing my 2 year old chestnut filly to a leg injury in November 2005 - well, ironically, today would have been Aria's 4th birthday. Do you think the mare hung on especially?! She was 12 days late . .

I do well remember when you lost Aria, and had thought what a beautiful filly she was. So for your mare to produce a chestnut filly on Aria's birthday is just amazing

There's nothing like fate is there? - Spry was a month late, she foaled a colt on 23rd April (St George's Day) he was by Embla George and it was ten years to the day since I had bought her! How did she work that one out?!

Will love to see pic's when they're ready and the best of luck with them both; can't remember what she's by now, sorry!
