I have a GSD

Welcome to the club. You will never go back.

One of us... one of us...

As this sounds creepy I will conclude by saying WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS and perhaps those of us with the best dog breed in the world could put our own pics up and make this a GSD photo thread? I never get tired of looking at them, or watching them do obedience better than everyone else, or their massive vocabulary, or them having a tantrum and throwing themselves on the floor when you spray them with a nice smell, or barking when you open a bottle of nail polish because it's offended their nose...

This is our new one 14 weeks!

What a cracking pup and what a lovely eye! He's a bit down on his toes at the moment, but they'll come up as he matures. He's already got lovely strong pasterns. You have every reason to be very proud of him! :)

Alec.

I'm used to looking at horses legs, how do his knees look? I keep thinking he is back at the knee, but he's the first GSD pup we have had, always had older ones so don't know if he needs to just grow in to them. He is a lovely character. Within a week was sitting, giving a paw and lying down. Now he is trying to sh*g the cat!

Gsd pups usually have a lot of knuckle at the knee, which they grow into. He does look a little straight in the pasterns in that picture but I'm sure it's just a stage .

I love this breed, totally beautiful pup joulsey, I went to do an assessment on one for a charity a few months ago and really wanted to take her home but OH put his foot down saying we couldn't have a 3rd dog :-[
