Probably should go in NL, but it scares me in there, plus in theory he will be doing competitions!
YM and I have just bought an Ex Racer! He was already at the yard, but his owner needed to sell him, so we clubbed together and now he is ours
He hasn't raced since 2006, was going to be National Hunt horse, but he didn't make it. He is Bright bay, with only a tiny white star, 16.2hh and 9. Very green but has the basics (we have brakes!).
Hopefully he will be a little eventer this time next year. Going to spend the winter doing dressage and maybe the odd bit of jumping, but he has a lovely pop on him, whereas his flatwork is distinctly lacking, so lots of schooling!
I am so excited!
He is called Eric!
Pictures will follow!
Don't worry fans of the Flying Cow, he is still going to be around! He is going to have lots of fun this winter hunting and teaching his little brother how to behave at parties
and will be thankful of a lighter work load next summer!
