But I highly doubt it would still be for sale by the time I had sold my two

He is just what I am looking for next...an older schoolmaster to do novices/ JRNs on, and he is half the price of the rest I have seen!

Schoolmasters
20th ad down- "sane and sensible schoolmaster"

I was good friends with his rider through pony club, she got him about the same time I got Boss so we did all PC teams together, and whilst he's lovely and a perfect pony club horse, he's cheap for a reason and has been for sale for a long time.

Actually, have just looked up his BE record..
I can now see why he is so cheap!

I was going to say, there will be a reason he is so cheap and not advertised as a event schoolmaster

Hmm yeah BE record is a bit inconsistent.

In his defence, I have no idea what his new young rider is like but he's not an ungenuine horse, he just lacks confidence at the bigger showjumps. The jockey must have done something seriously wrong to get him E at intro!! By all accounts, he was a very promising young horse and he has a lot of quality.

If he is E at intro I think he wants a change of career. Some horses don't want to compete, they don't enjoy it and if thats the case someone should listen to what he is saying...not what is written.
My mate had a horse that on paper should have been a grade a sj, was eliminated virtually every time out. In RL he just wanted to show off. Turned him into a super ridden hunter.
