I have discovered the delights of driving!

This is a little self indulgent but I'm feeling very proud of myself. About 7 years ago I had about 5 formal (horse) driving lessons, but after that never had the opportunity to do any more. Well, my friend has just bought a cart for her fjord and we have been driving her the last 2 days. The first day I had a little go, but today she gave me the reins and I wouldn't give them back, the horse was perfect and the weather stayed fine for both so I am hoping to do lots more driving in the future. We are both plotting and scheming in the hope we can enter some pleasure driving classes in out big country show next year...

Although I have no pics I highly recommend trying it to anyone who hasn't already!

Why don't you aim to try some Horse Driving Trials? The marathons are brilliant fun.

We could do, I will have to look them up... neither of us have much knowledge on twhat opportunities are out there for us at the moment.
