I've found a new dog walk en-route to my yard, which I tried for the first time yesterday. Cue two greyhounds taking off at 100 mph down a long straight bridleway, and disapearing out of sight

I called and called, and bless her Flick came back (eventually

) with Islay reluctantly behind her.

So today I decided we would have a restful walk, just let Flick off and kept Islay on the lead

Flick was fabulous, had a race around but kept coming back to me every minute or so to check I was still there

Alternatively dont have a black greyhound

the last one I had was a prolific hunter and it would seem Islay is the same

I was a bit annoyed with myself in hindsight, Flick was so good she could have had lots more time off the lead but I wasnt sure about letting her off on the bridleway in case someone came cantering along

Not sure whether Islay will ever be let off the lead again

I can't stand taking two at a time, my Leah is perfectly well behaved on her own but when I bring Poppy along they both act like raving loonies! And if I let Leah off the lead and keep Poppy on, Leah seems to like reminding Pops that she has the best of things by charging at her and trampling her every five seconds...

Much easier with just the one.
