... and I've got 63 useable bits in all sorts of varieties, and 35 "museum pieces" - some of which look more like instruments of torture tbh

Given that I may at some point need any one of the 63 useable ones, I am not planning on parting with any, but I would quite like to display the non-useable ones somehow (without making my house look like a country pub

). Any ideas?

You are not alone . I have collected about that number too (from 3.5 inch rubber snaffles to 6.5 inch pelhams with the biggest port you have ever seen and gags of all sizes inbetween - not to mention the museum pieces!) and have a cupboard purely for bits and extra tack 'bits' too! (in my house!)
Would be interested to hear all replies.

Some of the ported bits are incredible the size of them

and I have a cherry roller gag with rings which are 5" in diameter - I am now paging through the old photo albums to see if I can find the poor horse that used to wear it

I've also found some Hungarian driving bits which have beautiful twiddly bits on them - really pretty!
