I haven't been on the forums in quite a while. I thought I would give a check in report.
I have a cat. He's less than a year old and fat as a pig. He plays with Freddie. It's incredibly cute.
I lost Rudy on Oct 6. He was in the early stages of renal failure so we had to stop his NSAID. He went downhill rapidly after that. He did have to go out 2 times during the night in that short period. He couldn't hold it until I could get him outside. When he had his last vet visit I brought a half of a Costco rotisserie chicken with us. He ate it, bones and all. I must have been numb because I was able to pick out his urn and such before we went into the room.
I am on a waiting for a male puppy. The dam is a working search and rescue dog. if the breeder repeats the last breeding the sire is another SAR dog and has his 3. I can never remember the current name for schutzhund. I'm hoping for a puppy in fall but who knows.
Freddie and I have been doing a lot of obedience, rally and tracking. I can't run agility any longer. My back can't take it. Freddie's tracking reminds of the old "Do or do not. there is no try." She says do not.
