I have such a fussy Horse

Ruby has been leaving her hay over the last week. Yard ordered to lots of hay yesterday, one from a local farmer and one from David Beckhams field (yes the David Beckham) well she turned her nose up striaght away at his stuff. I led her round the other bales and some she would eat from others she wouldn't. As she went round I marked the bales I wanted by putting items on them . Ohh its a pain havin a fussy Horse!

2012 hay is definitely not the preferred choice. My coloured is currently decorating her stable with hay, pulling it out of the net, dropping it on the floor and walking it round her bed... Brat

Mine are loving their hay - possibly the best they have ever had, made by my farmer husband - the season was dreadful - but they managed to make some good stuff in that brief window of opportunity. That I have good hay means that I can reduce the hard food - but my horses will eat anything if they are hungry enough.......
