I've known all along my vet is great, I've never once felt like anything was too much trouble and he's explained everything to me about Josie's surgery all the way through.
This morning I went to see Josie and some of her wound has broken down.
I called him, his answer phone said he wasn't at work this morning but he's back this pm, and to call the big boss vet if it was urgent.
I didn't leave a message, but as soon as I hung up my phone rang, it was my vet. Explained to him what was wrong, and he drove 40 mins on his morning off to come and check on us!
I never expected anything like that, yes it's his job, but not on his morning off when he's been up all weekend with a sick horse.
Sometimes it's the little things that count eh?
