My 4 yr old has been trying the outdoor life (ie. living out 24/7) for the last two days.
Tonight she admitted defeat
Stood in the corner by the gate tucked up and shivering in the drizzle
neighing sorrowfully every time she saw someone (farmer, neighbour - it didn't matter - she just wanted us all to know she was miserable
)
Now, bearing in mind she had a rug on and has been fed morning and night I didn't think she was that hard done by!
Anyhoo, did stables and left doors open whilst I went to get hay. Came back to find her stood in her stable
having jumped the fence to bring herself in......
Some horses just aren't meant to live out........
