I just got a nice surprise!

Just been down to see to my pony, went into the barn to get the water container and what did I find? Three, yes 3 FREE bales of hay from the farmer I rent from! Might not sound like much but every little bit counts these days. I think it is this years hay (99% sure) so one quick question, how long do I need to leave it before I can use it?

I love surprises like that my dad used to help the farmer out and move tractors for him on he's lorry, the farmer would always try to pay him but my dad would never take anything so farmer would drop off extra hay and straw for me.
