That would'nt be a problem. When I have had ex racehorses, the best thing for them is road work to start with and they are usually all very very good in traffic, having seen all sorts and being around lorry parks etc etc. You would be fine to hack up to your riding instructor and it would help by settling your horse before your lesson.

It was more the fact that I can't use the shool at all in the evenings I thought perhaps an ex racer would need more consistant schooling than I ccould offer.
