I'm stuck in Scotland and my hubby has just had to rush Hippy my hamster to the out of hours vets.
They put her to sleep 10 minutes ago.
I'm stuck in scotland in a hotel on my own, sobbing my heart out.
I'm 33 years old and she was only a hamster but I loved her anyway.
RIP my little angel, sleep tight.

RIP little fluffy hamster. I cried like mad when my hamster died- I had been expecting it for years (she was 6 yo when she died!!) but it was an awful feeling when she finally went. I'm sure they'll be playing together tonight

I'm sorry to hear this. I don't think the age of the owner or the species of the pet is important, it is always upsetting to lose them.

I cried when my Gecko was put to sleep. Doesnt matter how big or small they are, they have our hearts x

Aww poor hamster

I cried like a baby when my hamster died and I was in the army and supposed to be tough at the time so dont feel bad for getting upset
