I like mucking out! When did that happen?

Went up the yard today to fetch some stuff for our upcoming show.

My sharer does Chico on Wednesdays so I didnt really need to do anything 'horsey' but found myself mucking out. I just couldnt help myself!

When did i start liking mucking out?! Never saw that coming!

What i do not enjoy is the walk to the muck heap which feels like miles in the rain, or the heat!!

Would rather muck out a 12 x 12 stable than poo pick 9 acres Especially as mine is so neat and tidy in the stable too, I just keep telling myself the extra 2 hours lie-in at a weekend is worth it, just!

I like mucking out - there's something nice about taking a messy (not too messy tho ) stable and making all neat and tidy for the horse

Sadly, I enjoy it as well! I go off into a little world of my own while I do it, beats doing housework!!!!!

maybe I didnt like doing it because my boy is soooo messy. But that does make it satisfying when you go from total stable devastation to nice tidy bed

ive not had a stable to muck out for 11yrs. this winter ill have to start bring in, so will have 3 to do. so feel free to come and assist me

I've always enjoyed mucking out... Not so much when I owned a box walker but, yep, always enjoyed it. Ben does three poos and one wee a day... Easy peasy to much out daily so, yeah... I enjoy. In he past I've hated poo picking, but for me, I've started to enjoy it this last 12 months. I love seeing my whippet running around, streaking along with a smile on her face... She has always loved to run, but she got diagnosed with cancer of the thyroid this winter so I cheris her enjoyment even more. I suddenly love too, the process of cleaning the field... Walking to the gate and turning around and seeing a clean green paddock...

I dont have to muck out as horses live out...but I do like poo picking. Its good therapy...and weirdly relaxing
