I Like My Vet Because...

I like my vet because:
○Call out charge is only £12
○ He doesnt sugar coat things or give me any flannel
○ He never tries to push me into expensive tests etc unless he feels they are absolutely necessary
○ My nutty youngster who is not keen on men is completely fascinated by him and adores him lol
○ He always does what he says he will

He's got years of experience as well as up-to date knowledge. He is pragmatic, and lets time be a healer instead of launching into immediate wildly expensive treatment which may or may not be relevant.
He calls every animal, horse, dog, cat etc. "Sausage"
He once came to check - unasked - on one of my livery horses who had injured himself earlier in the day and whose owner was on holiday He arrived at 8pm, in evening jacket, saying "I've just been across the field to check on the old boy, and he's fine for the night" ( I was downing my third stress-combatting gin and tonic!)
They don't come better than him, and what I shall do when he retires I don't know.
