thanks the grey and the bay do love each other, but the grey wasnt cut until he was 4/5 and the bay is very very playful so they do tend to rough and tumble all day long!

shetty isnt bothered who's his mate, as long as he can eat lol!!!

How the hell do you keep the grey so clean? My two are filthy from just 3 days out naked and one of them had a bath this morning, only to come in dirtier than the other one!

i think the biggest factor is that our fields are sandy soil, so there hasnt been any mud all winter, so theres no soil/mud for them to roll in now, so the worst he can produce is a few grass stains!

apart from this rare day, he usually lives in a fly sheet and tail bag,and he does get bathed at least once a week and spot washed every day, i am a little obsessive about it lol!

I bet your grey didnt look that colour for long ...however i take that back, I can't see any mud!...maybe just a few grass stains instead.

Agree though, they do seem much more content when there naked aka natural and can groom each other and run around without any rungs jangling around
