im watching showjumping on telly and i see that horse rider hasnt got him on the bit or anythin, i personally think it makes them look very calm and collected instead of been tightly put on the bit with double reins and everything(:
does anyone agree?
pointless post i know(:

I suppose it depends on whether the horse is listening or not,or if their just poodling along! One of the things being on the bit does is to build up the neck and back muscles strengthening them. But then you dont want the other extreme of hyper flexion (or whatever its called)thats horrendous!I know what you mean though, some of them look a lot nicer and looser.(i think anyway)
