So Gracie did her first 'proper' class on Sunday. I say proper, she did a clear round at about 30cm on the yard a few weeks ago but didn't think much of it, I thought it would of been at least 60 but I was wrong.

So the show was just on my yard, I thought I'd put her in the 75cm to just get round a course for her first time with fillers and spreads really, she's done bits and bobs but not a lot as she is so tall I've tried to take everything slow and kept it easy. The weather was not surprisingly rubbish, but we came out and had a jump anyway and she was fab, so keen and forwards. Got 8flts, had a stop/leap/run out at number 4 ( I was pedalling to this, she wasn't sure about the black and white gate but came round and jumped it no problem 2nd time) And then the second she ran out of the 2nd part of the double, but only because she jumped in to big,she would never have made it. So we just trotted back round and popped it easy peasy, so you can't knock that :)

Aiming for 4yos at Arena UK in September with her, but if she isn't ready we will just go for 5yos next year :)

wow! she is stunning! love your reports on her progress - keep it up! x

Aw thanks, i'll post more if you enjoy them haha! I just love her, she is so easy to do, just so bloody big! Actually she redeemed herself this day, because on the Saturday I brought her and my other in from the field and as I was doing the gate she bit my other horse and made her bleed! So is still a terrible four 4yo underneath the lovely riding horse she is haha
