I Love My Boy - First day ridden, Soooo Proud

Here's Roberto Sharing with you all his first 'Proper' ride.

Up until now we have only sat bareback in the yard so today he was saddled up and walked around a 5 acre field. All the long-reining has paid off as he was as good as gold happily following our oldie 'Peggy'. For a 'Sec D' he really is the most chilled out lad and really enjoyed himself and the attention.

He's just turning four so still a baby and we've been waiting for the field to dry out before getting started so its all been walking out on the road inhand.

CC welcome but I will probably ignore as today I am too happy

And here's my daughter having a short sit on him as he is her horse for the future.

I just love that unusual star on his forehead. Never seen one like that before! Is the a name for it?

I think its just called an irregular star but I have also read somewhere (but in german) its called a 'ringstar'. Not sure though?

I would be interested in whether the star has an actual name as one of my boys has similar.....when he's being naughty I tell him it's so the vet knows where to put the gun .
