As title really, have posted here before about my 3 year old breeze, appy cross :) today was our first ride for 7 days and it was sideways rain and blowing a gale ...... Woof we o lit up like a Christmas tree up through the village and through the bridleway to meet up with two friends, neither of which I've ever ridden with before . Breeze has only ever been out with three other hors before and never more than one at a time, we went for a 40 minute hack through some other bridle ways and had a canter at the back, she waited after the others took off for a squeeze for canter, wow she was perfect only our fifth canter ever she didn't mind them disappearing sound a corner just kept at a steady pace. After this she stopped as soon as I asked, let the other two head for home whilst we went in opposite direction home. Met 4 uses and two hgvs aswell . Soooooo very pleased with how mygirly has turned out. Sorry no photos today was far too wet to take any

I'm just oing to drop kids to school and meeting up with the same mares as yesterday plus one more . She's been such a good mare to break, handle etc and seems to have turned a corner with her attitude problems since I broke her in, before she would fly kick strange horses, now she ignores them it's like she knows she has a job to do and mummy to look after lol. Had her for so years its the first yearling I've brought, I broken and handled plenty of young horses before but for other people. This ime has been so rewarding , and so much slower paced, backed her initially in may, and turnedheraway for 6 weeks did 3 ten minute hacks and turned her away again for a month. Seems to have worked and just clicked in her head and she's pretty much a school mistress when it come to hacking, bombproof with traffic and takes the lead when ever it's required. I'm not doing very much schooling ATM, I don't want to pile pressure on a immature horse, we will spend ne session every other week in my friends school over the winter and then will turn away in feb for a month or so before getting her ready for her first show in June which is a ten minute hack :) will try and get pics today

Love her more and more every day.... Rode her bare bac for first time at the weekend, she was brilliant, tomorrow we re going t use a sand school for the third time ever, never ridden her in one but need to start getting a better outline
