They only do clear rounds now on a Thursday evening but that suited us fine!
Poor Holly got dragged out the field and stuck on the lorry
covered up to her knees in wet mud
we looked very stylish!
She felt a little footy in the carpark and for a bit in the practice area so am going to get the farrier to put her front shoes back on as i think thats whats causing it.
She was half asleep... and dressage pony stylie.... until i pointed her a cross pole all of a sudden she awoke!
Put the clear round height down to about 2ft3 for her as she hasn't jumped a course for over a year - thought we'd start nice and easy
She flew over 1 and 2 and because 2-3 was on a related distance i was trying to sort out her strides and she just went 'What?!' and stopped at 3 (think if i'd left her to do it on her own she would have been fine!
) so came back round to 3 and then flew round the rest of the course!
I was VERY pleased with her!
We're going again next week and will put the jumps at around 2ft6 and if she goes ok i'll take her to the Trailblazers for the .75m on the Sunday.
