pointless post, but i love my vets

i moved about a million miles away from my old house and was sad to be leaving my old vets behind... then i discovered they come all the way out to where i live now!

then... they sent a promotional letter out the other day saying if i booked them for a monday, it was free callout.

so, my darling vet is travelling (for free) about a million miles to come and do raff's jabs and microchip (he has one, it's in polish, i don't understand it... so getting him a new one).

i love my vets.

. Will definately have to look more seriously in that neck of the woods! Am so going to miss my vet and farrier and dentist and saddler - they're all booked to come on holiday whenever the horses need doing lol.

I think a box of choccies is in order!

Totally agree Isle Vets are fab, I have used them for 10 years and so pleased they come over as far as they do, I am near Peterborough.

Good idea about the free call out which I hope they keep going for a little while yet. In the meantime can someone please tell my 2 boys that it is extra call out when they get ill on a weekend and can't they wait until a Monday (but let me know the Friday before so that I can book in the visit in advance to get the free call out!).

Can't you tell I have had a couple more weekend vet's visit recently!! Poor Mark was at the yard for quite a while on Saturday sorting out one of mine who had his intentines pushing his spleen out of position. Probably as a result of all the bills I have had over the last 2 years that they can offer the free call out days!
