Pouring with rain!!! Yet all on yard helped each other get wet shivering horses in, towelled them dry, put rugs on in stable to dry them off , they were really soaked! Not one of us complained and we were all soaked by time all jobs done, even laughed at ourselves poo picking in rain with chickens pecking at bits of poo!!!! Have sorted a rota out for this evening and those who live close are going up to turn out in rugs later. Must say Dunkirk spirit shone through!! I read some posts of horror stories at yards of bitching and backbiting and thank my self for being so lucky to have nice yard owner, and other liveries who are good mates.
