I love my YO!

There are so many threads on here, slating YO'S! So thought I would post a positive YO story!

Last night, it was decided that Horses would be turned out all day, today. On the days my Horse has turn out, I don't go to the yard in the mornings (YO turns out, as part of livery service) So I set my alarm for half 8 (I start work at 9 ) YO text me at 6 this morning, to say that they were leaving in as weather awful. I slept through my text so when I awoke at 8.30, I was in a mad panic! Horse needed to be seen too. Que me running around and rushing! rung work to say I would be late. Just then YO rung to say she had fed, hayed, watered and changed my Horses rugs for me! She didn't want to ring me any earlier as she didn't want to wake me up.

Ah thats nice! I also have a nice YO who helps me out with stuff when I need it, she's giving me a couple of freebie lessons on my new horse too so I can settle with him quicker Yeay for nice YO's!

Mine is really good too, as is her OH. They know my horses really well and take excellent care of them.

Should I say that my daughter has the best yard owner in the world????

The YO mucks out, grooms, feeds, changes rugs, poo picks the field, sweeps the yard, lunges, turns out and brings in, tidies up after the liveries, and even mends rugs.

Guessed it yet?

Her YO is her mum! ;-))

My yo doesnt get involved. My ym on the other hand is lovely! She helps me out no end. Has given me a couple lessons on new pony/helped with lunging... Has lent me bits and rugs and has helped find a saddle from.another lovely lady at yard
