Honestly, I'm not being sarky!!! Elz and I have just had the most lovely ride; we're both rather soggy, but for once she didnt keep ducking her head to get out of the rain - nor did she spook! (well, only once - which is exemplary for her - one puddle was FAR too scary!!!) She didnt seem too amused about being kicked out in the rain for me to muck out when we got back, though:
And while I was next door getting the hay, she sneaked in and did this!
I am SOOOOO thankful for my synthetic saddle - no nasty creaking when wet, no cardboard texture, no necessity to clean before next time....
On a sadder note, my beloved Ariats are going up to the shoe box in the sky...after 7 years of service, they have sprung a very definite leak...RIP Ariats!
(PS. can you tell that Ellie hasnt been clipped yet at all this winter!?!?)
