Dont ask me why, but i really felt the need to post this today. I am so grateful to be a member of such a wonderful forum. I'm not a regular poster as such, and dont have 'friends' on here, but just feel inspired to post this.

Exactly a week ago my partner of 5 and a half years decided he wanted to end our relationship - completely out of the blue, leaving me devistated and upset, i've got lots of decisions to make, not least about what we are going to do with our house.

BUT... i have logged onto this forum every day since then, not posted much, but sat and read the other posts, and you guys without even knowing it have taken my mind off everything else. On top of that, having kept up to date with the Stamford horses on here this forum as very probably saved the lives/ or at least saved the suffering of those horses, and i think you all deserve a medal! take my hats off to you lot! and Thank You! Sorry for such a daft post, but just felt the need!
 
Ditto that!! I don't post often - usually just lurking in the background but you have read my mind completely. Well done to all of you on here who rallied around!!

Hey Chestnutgeegee - I'm so glad it's made a difference. It is pretty good on here and yesterday was amazing - a really lovely feeling of solidarity. Don't get too down - a long time ago I was dumped after a nine year relationship. It sucks, it really does, but you have my word that you *will* be okay - honestly!! Keep smiling and chat to all of us anytime

I am a 'lurker' as well and find the forum full of useful advice. Chestnutgeegee many hugs for you at least you have your neddies and i bet there will be someone better who come along

I have had loads of great advice on here, the odd spat but generally a load of fun and some big belly laughs. I have never met anyone off the forum ( apart from Kenzo who I saw walking down the street and didnt dare say hello in case she thought I was a deranged stalker he he he

poppymoo - you couldnt have said it better! but i might need more then 1 glass (even though its only 1.45 in the afternoon!!)
